DIY: Studded and Spiked Denim Jacket
Here is my Studded and Spiked Denim DIY Jacket, just a simple way of updating an old jacket as denim never goes out of style. I am very camera shy (because I am not skinny nor photogenic) but I think wearing my DIYs would be more interesting for my blog and its time to try something new. I finally found a store that sells spikes and I am glad that I was able to add it to this DIY. I placed the spikes on the shoulders to make it look punk-y haha. I noticed though that spikes have to be used with sturdy materials such as denim or leather since its heavy and will probably flop down with softer materials.
A before and after pic below.
So where will you use your studs and spikes?

2 Weeks Notice
I failed to post regularly! Argh! The past 2 weeks have been crazy busy! I have been busy working overtime, fixing stuff for the garage sale, fell ill with PMS and some stress-related symptoms. My eye was twitching the other day and according to the Internet, this is due to fatigue and stress so I had to ban myself from using the computer. I have been resting as much as I can so hopefully this week will be better for me.
Here are some Instagrams taken the past month.

Upcoming DIY: Studded Denim Jacket
My next DIY will be a studded denim jacket. Not exactly an original idea but I have been seeing lots of denim items in stores lately so I thought it would be a perfect way to update my old jacket. I am still deciding on where to place the studs and here are some of my pegs below:
Shoulder |
Back |
Sleeves |
I only have plain circular studs and I have been looking all over for spikes but so far I found sellers from etsy.com. and it is quite expensive.
On another note, I promise to update my blog regularly! Perhaps three posts weekly?
