I wanted to share my short Holy
Week getaway from the city (Manila). I spent 2 nights and 3 days with nature and company of friends. Our first stop was in San Pablo Laguna followed by Quezon
Province and lastly Tagaytay. I had
trouble with the camera that I borrowed thus I was only able to take a few
photos. This just means that I need to get myself a new camera SOON! Check out
the photos below of the sceneries I was able to capture. Nature is truly a magnificent work of God and
is exceptionally breath-taking! I I hope you feel the sense of serene and tranquillity
the same way I did.

A tiny fish caught by my friend, Cots. The fisherman was kind enough to let her use his rod |

Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery, it was closed that day so we only able to take photos from the outside |

Rafting at Lake Pandin, Laguna. You can avail the ride with or without food. We ordered food to help out the locals and it was really good. P180 pax for the ride and another P180 pax for food.

View from the middle of the lake, simply breath-taking! |
|
At Kubli Springs, Quezon. You can only get here through the owner, Jay, who runs the Kinabuhayan Cafe where we had lunch that day. |

Short trails through the streams |

View from top. We had the option to jump off the cliff which was about 8-10 feet high. I did not jump but climbed down the rocks instead. I have a fear of heights plus I was not wearing swim attire that time. Some boys in our group took the plunge though, must have felt great because the sun was high, striking at about 34 degrees Celsius. |
Even if this trip was short and
spent nearby, it was nonetheless enjoyable, relaxing and literally a
breath of fresh air from the city. Work plus the city are suffocating at times. Everyone
needs to take a break once in a while to relax from the busy life. This is the
best medicine to combat stress and worries. You can check out my friend,
Cots' blog, for more details, she runs a photo and travel blog :) Now, back to the reality of life!
Where do you spend your short getaways from the city?
